If you would prefer something more traditional then there is no better place to have a Buddhist wedding than on Koh Samui. The groom can enjoy arriving on an elephant, you can walk down the aisle to the sounds of a long drum parade and together you can enjoy the chanting of Buddhist monks amid candles and incense.

Western Style Weddings
Many brides and grooms choose to enjoy a western style wedding ceremony. Some choose to exchange their vows on the beach under a beautifully decorated gazebo and then hold their reception at a villa or resort. Others choose to exchange their vows around a pool terrace in a luxury private villa or resort, some choose to say I do aboard one of the islands luxury yachts and either stay on board for the reception or return to their villa or resort for the wedding party, dinner and party.
